Martha was a very busy woman, very successful in her field. Thus, it came as a great shame to her to have such a slacker son who seemed to have no aspirations of his own. She had taken him here to force him to get a more respectable wardrobe, as well as to maybe find him a job. Tyler hated how stuck up his mom was. He hated that she expected him to be just like her. And he especially hated the way she felt the need to hold his hand as they were walking.
